Wind Fairy

The delicate fabric used in the wings reminded me of Michigan artist and author, Gwen Frostic’s work. I had the privilege of visiting her studio and meeting her when I was a child. Her love of nature still inspires me. These pages are from “A Place on Earth”. Fairy in soft grey roving with a floral crown with just the slightest hint of a peachy pink created by Marina Ilnytska.
