The days grow are growing shorter, nights longer and temperatures are beginning to fall. The last of the leaves will soon be replaced by falling snowflakes. Creating has long been my solace, especially at this time of year. A slower pace allows me to more fully explore ideas that have been brewing for months. I pay attention to colors and textures on my walks and when I sit down with a warm tea to create in my studio, I am grateful that my artwork brings comfort and joy.
Today, we transformed Fairy Land into a winter gingerbread wonderland. To our local friends planning a visit, the gallery is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-5pm until June 1. For our out of town friends, there are several new online offerings including an assortment of fairies, gnomes and hedgehogs, birthday fairy/beeswax candle sets, miniature gingerbread houses, mushroom kit, rainbow weaving kit, and new options for gift pouches and gift wrapping. A special thank you to Jean for her idea to create a Petoskey stone gnome! Please order early for the holidays to ensure that your gifts arrive on time. Items are currently shipped within three days of order placement.
