Trilliums are just beginning to unfurl their sleepy leaves. Their white buds stretching upward toward the sky. Soon the forest floors will be blanketed with a carpet of the elegant white three-petaled flowers, along with Yellow Trout Lily, Spring Beauty and Dutchman's Breeches and so many more!
If you are planning a visit to Three Pines Studio and Gallery, your route may take you past several Little Traverse Conservancy trails, perfect for filling your senses with the wonders of spring! Keep your eyes open. You may even spot a Trillium Fairy, caring for the delicate flowers. Listen as the breeze carries her gentle reminder to not pick the beautiful wildflowers. Under her protection and ours, they will continue to grow and bloom for many years to come.
