Today we were so excited to hold our very first fairy and gnome parties of 2023 at Three Pines Studio & Gallery. Special thanks to the Scott family for their help in making sure everything looked beautiful before the young guests arrived! We enjoyed a story about Little Cap, a mushroom, and his best friend Gustav, a slug in "Gustav is Missing! A Tale of Friendship and Bravery" by Andrea Zuill. We donned fairy and gnome costumes that were hanging from the gentle boughs of the white pines, searched the Three Pines Studio garden paths for magical creatures, made butterflies with colorful shadows, wrote notes and drew pictures for the fairies, and enjoyed delicious fairy treats. Some of the gnomes and fairies raced with a monarch among the milkweeds. The monarch seemed curious and eager to join in the fun. Others made wishes for fairy dreams, hoping they will fly in their sleep tonight. With the help ofeco friendly unicorn and dragon dust, there is no better word to describe today than "magical".
We will be holding unique fairy parties each Friday in July and the first week of August. Next week's party will include making fairy and gnome gardens in tea cups and mugs with Queen Fairy Kim. Please visit www.threepinesstudio.com to learn more and to register.
